Types of Tours
Costa Rica supports an enormous variety of wildlife homing over 500,000 species. Day or night, the forest flourishes with life for visitors to see! Join the hunt for some of the world's rarest living organisms.

DAY TOURS
These generally begin around 7:15am and take around 3-3.5 hours. Nature's exciting unpredictability allows for each tour to be unique. I suggest that you bring long pants, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, and binoculars if you have them. I will bring along my telescope and binoculars for maximum visibility of anything we may find.
We will be looking for animals and observing the flora and fauna. Also, we will examine the many rare relationships between the animals and their surroundings that can only be seen in Costa Rica.

NIGHT TOURS
This tour begins at 5:30pm, lasts around 2-2.5 hours. We will be walking through nature’s paths in the dark so be sure to wear long pants, close toed shoes, and a light jacket. I will provide flashlights for the group.
During the walk, we will be observing some of Costa Rica's nocturnal life that fills nature's corners after the sunsets.

BIRD WATCHING TOURS
For best results, this tour should begin bright and early in the morning. Costa Rica homes more than 800 species of birds and at this hour, we will have the highest chances to see many of them.
This tour combines walking to key sites Monteverde as well as within a local wildlife refuge. This allows for spotting a greater diversity of birds by visiting different habitats.
